The challenge of this relatively straightforward dining table project was all about color and finish. Starting from the client's imaginative description of "pigeon belly gray" (love my clients!) we honed in on a gorgeous shade of cool gray with hints of light blue. After several rounds of testing various color gradations on the actual maple with the polyurethane topcoat, we nailed it.
