This unique sideboard was designed by the client and features a potted plant that grows through the top. The case is black walnut and the back, drawer fronts, and doors are reclaimed American elm.
The design concept of the plant growing through the top of the piece was emphasized with oganic-looking "cracks" that radiate out from the opening. The portion of the top panel to the right of the plant is a removable hatch for easy access and removal of the plant.
